Stray Spawn Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 is a minimalistic configurable mod which adds a chance for strays to spawn naturally everywhere instead of a skeleton spawn. By default in the vanilla Minecraft, they can only spawn in ice biomes, but they are too cool looking to not have them everywhere.

Configurable:

• chanceSkeletonIsStray (default = 0.25, min 0, max 1.0): The chance a skeleton that has spawned is of the stray variant.

Minecraft Forge

Collective Library

The mod requires Minecraft Forge to work. To properly install the mod, follow the simple steps below.

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge and Collective Library.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
