Easy Elytra Takeoff Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5 is a minimalistic mod which allows easy taking off by elytra with a firework rocket from the ground without having to do that awkward jump. Just have the firework in your main hand, click on an empty space and you-ll fly off. Especially useful on servers where players have a high ping, making it difficult to take off from the ground.

The mod requires Minecraft Forge to work. To properly install the mod, follow the simple steps below.

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge and Collective Library.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
