DeathMaps Mod 1.14.2/1.13.2 will give you a treasure map when you die, that points to your death location. This mod can be installed serverside-only, however, you should enable the server-only mode in the config then, so the maps have proper names. (only available in the 1.12 version)

Minecraft Forge

The mod requires Minecraft Forge to work. To properly install the mod, follow the simple steps below.

1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
