Creeper Awareness Mod 1.12/1.10.2 resurrects secret feature that was added in snapshot 14w11, and removed after because of the lag it was causing. And that-s simply because mojang implemented it in a very unefficient way.

Features:

• More efficient.

• Supports TNT.
• Has API, meaning any mod can implement support for it-s explosives.

Each affected entity finds random safe block away from center and path to it:

MC sends all affected entities to found block with speed=distance/ticksLeftBeforeExplosion:

Each new entity that enters dangerous zone before explosion will be processed…

Why is it less laggy-

• Instead of each entity scanning around for creepers, here that are creepers that are scanning and telling everybody around “run, i will explode”

The mod requires Minecraft Forge to work. To properly install the mod, follow the simple steps below.

1. Download and install Minecraft Forge.
2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
   • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
   • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
