Compact Ores Mod 1.16.5/1.15.2 for Minecraft adds in a unique set of ores that form throughout the world. These ores are radically compressed versions of regular vanilla/modded ores. Once mined, they will drop their respective standard version ore in a more substantial quantity. It also has a very distinctive (automatically generated) texture from the original mineral block which it-s based on so the players can quickly tell them apart without too much of a problem. It-s a great addition to the vanilla Minecraft mining experience, and overall doesn-t completely destroy the authenticity of this aspect of the game.

The mod requires Minecraft Forge to work. To properly install the mod, follow the simple steps below.
- Download and install Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the minecraft application folder.
- On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
- On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
